This policy describes what data Suhana Din ("we", "the app") collects, why, and how we handle it. Suhana Din is an astrology and numerology app that generates personalised daily readings.
The microphone is used only while you are actively holding a voice question — that is, after you tap the microphone button and until your phrase ends. It is never accessed in the background, and the app cannot listen when you have not asked it to.
Speech is converted to text by your device's own speech recognition service, not by us. On Android this is the recogniser built into your phone, which on most devices is provided by Google; depending on your device and its settings, that service may process the audio on Google's servers under Google's own privacy policy. We have no control over, and no access to, that processing.
Suhana Din never records, stores, or transmits audio. We receive only the resulting text, which is then treated exactly like a question you had typed. You can refuse or withdraw the microphone permission at any time in your device settings; the app remains fully usable by typing, and the microphone button disappears where voice input is unavailable.
All data is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication) in the us-central1 region. Google's security and compliance documentation applies to data at rest and in transit.
We share data only with the third parties strictly necessary to run the app:
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for cross-app tracking.
Your profile and preferences are retained for as long as your account exists. Anonymous feedback is retained indefinitely for aggregate analysis. If you delete your account, we delete your profile, preferences, and feedback within 30 days.
Suhana Din is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Passwords are managed and hashed by Firebase Authentication; we never see or store them. Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Firestore security rules ensure each user can read and write only their own document.
Daily readings are generated by AI and astrological computation for entertainment purposes only. They may contain errors and should not be treated as professional medical, legal, financial, psychological, or spiritual advice. Always consult a qualified professional for important decisions.
If we materially change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or by email.
